Prof. Ganjar Kurnia mencontohkan apa yang dilakukan di Perancis. Di sana, lulusan SMA, di tahun pertamanya dikatakan sebagai calon sarjana. Karena kualitasnya sudah memadai, maka Ujian Nasional ikut menjadi komponen seleksi nasional calon mahasiswa. Bahkan, di sana, guru dan murid justru demo saat ujian nasional itu mau ditiadakan.

Penilaian kelulusan dengan melihat hasil UN dalam pandangan pemerintah masih merupakan metode evaluasi yang terbaik sampai saat ini.
Pelaksanaan UN tahun ini diharapkan dapat menguji prestasi dan kejujuran dalam dunia pendidikan nasional. Karena itu, langkah-langkah perbaikan kualitas penyelenggaraan UN dan antisipasi kecurangan telah dirancang pemerintah, Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan, dan juga perguruan tinggi.
Dalam pembuatan soal, materinya harus mencerminkan realitas kualitas pendidikan saat ini. Kebocoran soal dicegah mulai dari pembuatan, penggandaan, hingga distribusi soal.

Keempat faktor penentu kelulusan siswa diminta tidak saling membatalkan kelulusan, tetapi dibobot dengan tidak menjadikan UN sebagai faktor penentu utama.

Berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah no. 66 tahun 2010 dan Peraturan Mendiknas no. 34 tahun 2010 tentang pola penerimaan mahasiswa baru program sarjana pada perguruan tinggi, maka untuk proses penerimaan mahasiswa baru jalur seleksi Ujian Mandiri program S1 Undip akan dilaksanakan setelah seleksi tertulis nasional atau SNMPTN (Seleksi Nasional Mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi Negeri).Informasi kegiatan seleksi adalah sebagai berikut:

UNAIR buka Jalur Mandiri
Seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya,UNAIR tetap mengadakan seleksi mandiri,yang diberi nama Penelusuran Minat dan Kemampuan (PMDK) dalam 2 gelombang, yang pelaksanaannya pada bulan juli 2011. Jadwal pelaksanaan kegiatan seleksi tersebut:

Seleksi Masuk (SIMAK) Univ. Indonesia adalah pola seleksi yang tidak membedakan jenis kelamin, agama, suku, ras, kedudukan sosial dan tingkat kemampuan ekonomi. SIMAK-UI adalah seleksi masuk untuk jenjang program S1 Regular, Vokasi (D3), S1 Paralel dan S1 Kelas Khusus Internasional (KKI), S2, Profesi dan S3 secara bersamaan. Dalam upaya pemerataan kesempatan belajar di UI, maka SIMAK-UI dilaksanakan secara serentak, sehingga siswa atau siapapun yang ingin masuk UI dapat mengikuti seleksi di beberapa lokasi kota terdekat dengan tempat tinggalnya, tanpa harus datang ke Depok. Untuk TA 2011/2012, mengikuti Permendiknas 34/2010, maka SIMAK-UI direncanakan tanggal 3 JULI 2011.
SIMAK-UI BUKAN jalur MANDIRI,dan UI tidak memiliki jalur Mandiri. Untuk Jenjang S1 Reguler, Biaya Pendidikannya sama jika diterima melalui jalur masuk lainnya seperti jalur PPKB (PMDK), SNMPTN dan Prestasi. Besarnya Biaya Pendidikan di S1 Regular adalah BERKEADILAN, bergantung kemampuan orangtua/wali.
Pendaftaran secara online direncanakan 3-24 Juni 2011. Dengan sekali ujian SIMAK-UI, siswa SMA dapat memilih S1 Reguler, Vokasi (D3), S1 Paralel, atau S1 Kelas Khusus Internasional (KKI). Info selengkapnya klik disini

Hal ini sebuah pencapaian dan kebanggaan yang luar biasa bagiku dan juga kedua orang tuaku, pencapaian ini adalah hasil kerja keras yang telah aku lakukan selama 2 tahun terakhir ini.
