Itulah ungkapan yang tepat untuk menyatakan kehebohan akhir-akhir ini terhadap rencana penggabungan antara UN (Ujian Nasional) SMA dan SNMPTN (Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri). Mulai dari guru-guru di sekolah, orang tua, tentor di lembaga pendidikan, bahkan tak kalah seru dilingkungan siswa, topik yang satu ini selalu menjadi obrolan yang hangat. Ada yang mengatakan UN diintegrasikan dengan SNMPTN mulai tahun 2010 ini, sebagian lain menyatakan tahun 2011 dan ada juga yang 2012. Seperti halnya keberadaan UN sendiri, proses integrasi ini juga terjadi pro dan kontra. Bahkan Federasi Guru Independen Indonesia (FGII), jelas-jelas menyatakan menolak.
Terlepas dari pro dan kontra integrasi, kita yang mengaku bagian dari civitas institusi pendidikan, musti mawas diri terhadap pelaksanaan UN selama ini. Bukan rahasia lagi, bagaimana UN dilakukan oleh sekolah penuh dengan kecurangan. UN yang tadinya bertujuan mulia, yakni dengan standarisasi mutu, hanyalah slogan belaka. Yang ada, guru, kepala sekolah dan bahkan pimpinan daerah secara kolektif bekerja sama, atas nama gengsi daerah dan sekolah “mensukseskan UN”, meskipun dengan cara-cara yang mengabaikan norma kejujuran. Apakah mungkin UN di integrasikan dengan SNMPTN?
Jika dilihat dari tujuannya, UN berbeda dengan SNMPTN. UN bertujuan untuk sarana evaluasi tingkatan pendidikan tertentu. Apa yang dievaluasi pada UN sudah tergambar dalam Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL). Dari SKL inilah sebenarnya dapat dijabarkan dalam bentuk soal-soal. Siswa dinyatakan lulus jika dapat mengerjakan soal-soal yang diujikan dengan nilai minimal tertentu yang dari tahun ketahun meningkat. SNMPTN bertujuan untuk alat seleksi memasuki PTN tertentu. Desain soal yang ada di SNMPTN mempunyai daya beda yang tinggi, sehingga panitia SNMPTN dengan mudah dapat “memotong” nilai-nilai peserta SNMPTN sesuai dengan daya tampung di jurusan masing-masing PTN. Bahasa sederhananya, soal SNMPTN dibuat dari yang mudah (banyak siswa yang bisa mengerjakan), hingga yang sulit (hanya sedikit siswa yang bisa mengerjakan).
Melihat perbedaan tujuan yang akan dicapai UN dan SNMPTN, rasanya teramat riskan jika keduanya diintegrasikan. Terlebih jika ditelusuri alasan lainnya, seperti pelaksanaan UN yang diragukan akuntabilitasnya.
Bagaimana seharusnya UN dilaksanakan jika diintegrasikan dengan SNMPTN?
Seandainya pemerintah yang diwakili dengan menterinya tetap mengintegrasikan UN dan SNMPTN, maka pelaksanaan UN harus mempunyai persyaratan seperti halnya seleksi umumnya, diantaranya
a) pola soal UN dapat menjamin mutu yang siswa yang lulus dan sekaligus dapat diterima oleh perguruan tinggi, termasuk dimungkinkannya diterima oleh PTN lintas wilayah/daerah,
b) skor UN dapat digunakan untuk evaluasi atau pengukuran terhadap kuliatas siswa yang masuk ke perguruan tinggi,
c) obyektivitas tinggi (termasuk mengurangi tekanan dari luar) dan sekaligus meningkatkan akuntabilitas UN terhadap masyarakat secara umum.
d) melibatkan PTN, bukan hanya sebagai pengawas, tapi juga sekaligus pelaksana termasuk desain soal.
e) meniadakan fungsi UN sebagai parameter kelulusan. Sebab sangat dimungkinkan jika nilai UN rendah dan dibawah pass in grade yang sudah ditentukan, ternyata lulus dalam SNMPTN.
f) secara teknis, resiko kebocoran dipastikan tidak ada, dan sentralisasi pengolahan data secara komputerisasi.
Memang jika diintegrasikan, pemerintah dan rakyat dapat menghemat dana yang sangat besar. Tetapi dengan persyaratan yang ketat seperti itu, mungkinkah dapat terlaksana? Belum lagi alasan lokasi SMA yang terdistribusi ke seluruh pelosok Indonesia sehingga butuh pengawasan ketat dan berapa dana yang harus dikeluarkan jika PTN secara fungsional ikut dalam pelaksanaan UN? Jangan sampai tujuannya menghemat dana, malah pada akhirnya membutuhkan dana yang lebih besar dan pelaksanaan UN masih seperti UN-UN sebelumnya.. Kita tunggu saja…

Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) untuktahun ajaran 2011-2012 melaksanakan seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru melalui 2 jalur,yakni seleksi nasional (SNMPTN) dan seleksi mandiri (UM UPI). Pelaksanaan seleksi nasional bersamaan dengan PTN lainnya, sedang info seleksi mandiri UPI adalah sebagai berikut:

2. Ujian Tulis: 28 dan 29 juli 2011

UNAIR buka Jalur Mandiri
Seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya,UNAIR tetap mengadakan seleksi mandiri,yang diberi nama Penelusuran Minat dan Kemampuan (PMDK) dalam 2 gelombang, yang pelaksanaannya pada bulan juli 2011. Jadwal pelaksanaan kegiatan seleksi tersebut:

Seleksi Masuk (SIMAK) Univ. Indonesia adalah pola seleksi yang tidak membedakan jenis kelamin, agama, suku, ras, kedudukan sosial dan tingkat kemampuan ekonomi. SIMAK-UI adalah seleksi masuk untuk jenjang program S1 Regular, Vokasi (D3), S1 Paralel dan S1 Kelas Khusus Internasional (KKI), S2, Profesi dan S3 secara bersamaan. Dalam upaya pemerataan kesempatan belajar di UI, maka SIMAK-UI dilaksanakan secara serentak, sehingga siswa atau siapapun yang ingin masuk UI dapat mengikuti seleksi di beberapa lokasi kota terdekat dengan tempat tinggalnya, tanpa harus datang ke Depok. Untuk TA 2011/2012, mengikuti Permendiknas 34/2010, maka SIMAK-UI direncanakan tanggal 3 JULI 2011.
SIMAK-UI BUKAN jalur MANDIRI,dan UI tidak memiliki jalur Mandiri. Untuk Jenjang S1 Reguler, Biaya Pendidikannya sama jika diterima melalui jalur masuk lainnya seperti jalur PPKB (PMDK), SNMPTN dan Prestasi. Besarnya Biaya Pendidikan di S1 Regular adalah BERKEADILAN, bergantung kemampuan orangtua/wali.
